Over Fez
Fez el-Bali is een echt doolhof: duizenden steegjes, de meeste te smal voor voertuigen, waar goederen nog per handkar en muilezel worden vervoerd. Dat is het belangrijkste praktische verschil met Marrakech: Fez voelt minder aangepast aan toerisme, en juist daarom geven veel reizigers er de voorkeur aan.
